The need for proximity, a fast reaction time and direct support for our pharmaceutical customers in North America, Puerto Rico and Canada led to the foundation of our subsidiary Uhlmann Packaging Systems L.P. in Towaco, New Jersey, in 1983. A popular team of around 70 specialists who are versed in every detail of the pharmaceutical packaging process, specialized services and the manufacturing of quality tools has developed over two decades from the initial consideration of how to react faster to the needs of our customers. As Towaco, together with Laupheim, is the second international ToolShop, the competence center for original Uhlmann tools and molds.
