Uhlmann supports customers with extended services

 

Whilst many lines of business are struggling with a drop in orders, pharmaceutical companies are working flat out – and doing so under difficult conditions. Travel restrictions, for example, mean that pharmaceutical packaging machines cannot be serviced as usual. Also in the case of malfunctions, on-site visits by service technicians are only possible to a limited extent. In order to support its customers in the current situation, Uhlmann Pac-Systeme GmbH & Co. KG has extended its services. The availability of the telephone hotline and remote service has been extended until further notice. In addition, we are offering all customers a special rate for a remote service package with video support for use until December 31, 2020.

Travel restrictions, for example, mean that pharmaceutical packaging machines cannot be serviced as usual. Also in the case of malfunctions, on-site visits by service technicians are only possible to a limited extent. In order to support its customers in the current situation, Uhlmann Pac-Systeme GmbH & Co. KG has extended its services. The availability of the telephone hotline and remote service has been extended until further notice. In addition, we are offering all customers a special rate for a remote service package with video support for use until December 31, 2020.

Extended telephone hotline availability
For the time being and with immediate effect, all customers, with or without a ServicePlus agreement, have access to the Comfort version of the telephone hotline. Instead of previously being available 8:00 am–5:00 pm, the hotline team can now be reached Monday–Friday*, 6:00 am–10:00 pm CET by calling +49 7392 702-8702. As previously, the first 60 minutes of support are free of charge. Premium customers continue to benefit from 24/7** availability. Uhlmann additionally offers all customers first-level support via the telephone hotline.

Video support for all
Through ServicePlus, Uhlmann offers modular service packages in the versions Basic, Comfort, and Premium. New now for all ServicePlus customers is the option of support via a video conference. Visual support helps to quickly remedy machine malfunctions and thus avoid downtime. Service technicians and Uhlmann experts assist those responsible directly at the machine via the preferred channel (Microsoft, Android, iOS).

Remote service at a special rate
In addition to telephone support, it is often helpful when Uhlmann experts have direct remote maintenance access to the machine control system. Uhlmann customers can now book the remote service package to run until December 31, 2020 at a special rate of EUR 1,500. This applies to the Comfort version with extended availability. This offer is of particular interest to customers without a ServicePlus agreement. Not only can they benefit from remote service via the Excellence United Service portal, but also from video support.
